Mike Dawson 

I was born in Upstate New York and have spent most of my adult life between Seattle and NYC. It's left me with a love of untouched nature, the ability of life to thrive among urban desolation and rural poverty, and the importance of ritual and celebration to build community and remind us why we're here. 

Honestly, I take photos because I believe almost anything can be beautiful. Everyone deserves a good picture and a chance to look at their life through a lens that makes them realize that they are as important and interesting as those followed by paparazzi.
